Alison Schneider Honoured for Advancing Sustainable Finance Around the World
AIMCo's Vice President of Responsible Investment has been selected for a 2021 Clean50 Award.
The awards are announced annually by Delta Management Group and the Clean50 organization to recognize those 50 individuals or small teams, from 16 different categories, who have advanced the cause of sustainability and clean capitalism in Canada over the past 2 years.
“Alison Schneider was chosen after rigorous screening and research by Delta Management, with advice from internal researchers and external advisors, and was among Honourees selected from an initial pool of approximately 900 well-qualified nominees. A global sustainable finance champion, as co-founder of “GRESB Infrastructure” and an instructor of the G7 Investor Leadership Network Sustainable Infrastructure Fellowship Program, Alison is advancing sustainable finance around the world by actively contributing to the development of sustainable finance frameworks,” noted Gavin Pitchford, CEO, Delta Management Group.
“It is an honour to be recognized alongside so many wonderful and committed leaders in organizations across Canada, working in many different fields, who are concerned about the course of Canada’s future if we don’t all take action quickly,” added Alison Schneider, Vice President, Responsible Investment, AIMCo.
