AIMCo Offers Commentary to International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation
In September 2020, the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Foundation published a consultation paper on the need for global sustainability standards. At that time, the IFRS Foundation requested stakeholder input.
Overall, AIMCo supports the IFRS proposal to create a sustainability standards board and lead the development of a global sustainability standards framework. Chief Investment Strategy Officer Amit Prakash and Vice President of Responsible Investment Alison Schneider provided AIMCo's response.
